Warwick Gliding Centre > 20 Minute Glider Flight
- For 1 Person
- 12 month validity
- Instant electronic delivery
- Organise timeslot after purchase
Escape the bounds of earth and soar the skies with the Warwick Gliding Club. Your instructor will show you around your glider before the flight and explain why they are so safe to fly in. The dual controls allows for the passenger to sit in the front, and the instructor to sit behind. Get towed up to approximately 3000 feet behind the powerful towplane and then release and explore the local area, like the town of Warwick, the Great Dividing Range, Leslie Dam & Allora. Your instructor will give you a go on the controls and if the weather is suitable your instructor will try to find thermals (rising air currents) to keep you aloft using the power of the sun! You will be airborne for 20-30 minutes (depends on the weather) at which point your instructor will land the aircraft gently back at the airfield. Don't delay, experience gliding today, just 1.5 hours from Brisbane.

Gliding is suitable to people of a wide age range (i.e. 5 - 70). Due to the size restrictions in the cockpit we cannot fly people who are taller than 200cm or heavier than 105kg.
We are a gliding club located in South East Queensland; which offers some of the most spectacular terrain and weather Australia has to offer.
We provide Air Experience Flights (AEFs) to allow you to taste what gliding is all about. This takes place in a dual controlled sailplane with a skilled instructor. We also offer all levels of soaring instruction to anyone wanting to learn how to fly. Soaring in gliders is one of the true forms of flying, staying aloft using natural air currents.
